ACTIVE HOUSE: architecture for life
The power of knowledge in struggle for better future is shown throught the stance that good design, ie high quality architectural decision, does not belong exclusively to the privileged as the upgrade of the elementar conditions, but quite the opposite, it emerges in situations of necessity.
Health and emotional wellbeing, intersected with the long-term tendency that negative affect of the built environment should be reduced and altered into positive contribution to the environment, combines and improves bioclimate principles, architectural design and substainable building in one concept of Active house. The idea for Active house sums up comfort requirements and user’s wellfare with energy efficiency and environmental protection.
Active house workshop is organized as a part of the broader students’ movement New habitat models for the flood-endangered inhabitants, held on Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade University. The purpose of the movement was to help endangered society by contributing to the recovery of objects in flood stricken area in Serbia, which took part in may, 2014. During the workshop, students have produced nine conceptual designs of small family houses designed with Active house principles.
In general education, it is about broadening the idea of architecture as a topic, by adding the main life value, or at least the everyday life value
PREPOZICIJE KUĆE:

Kvadratura kuće: bruto 90.72m²(x2)/neto 78.67m²(x2)

Sambeni prostor je izdignut od tla za jednu spratnu visinu, što je mera odbrane od nove poplave, a prostor na koti terena ujedno pruža i mogućnost proširenja životnog prostora. Veličina donjeg dela kuće podložna je prilagođavanju terenu .
Konstrukcija na donjem nivou obložena je vodootpornim materijalom (epoksidni premaz).
Krov je bele boje, koja odbija sunčeve zrake i sprečava pregrevanje prostora.
